REFLECTION

The Holy Spirit is not distant from us; the Spirit is active within us. God has given us His Spirit to strengthen, guide, comfort, teach, transform, and empower us for the life He has called us to live. As you read these scriptures this week, reflect on the many ways the Holy Spirit is already at work in you.  

WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES:

  • John 14:16–17—The Spirit is our Helper and Comforter.

  • John 14:26 — The Spirit teaches us and reminds us of what Jesus said.

  • John 16:13—The Spirit guides us into all truth.

  • Acts 1:8—The Spirit gives us power to be witnesses.

  • Romans 8:14—The Spirit leads us.

  • Romans 8:26–27—The Spirit helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us.

  • Romans 8:16—The Spirit assures us that we belong to God.

  • 1 Corinthians 2:10–12 — The Spirit reveals the things of God to us.

  • 1 Corinthians 12:4–11 — The Spirit gives spiritual gifts.

  • Galatians 5:22–23—The Spirit produces fruit in our lives.

  • Ephesians 3:16—The Spirit strengthens us with power in our inner being.

  • 2 Corinthians 3:18 — The Spirit transforms us into the image of Christ.

  • Acts 13:2–4—The Spirit calls and sends us.

  • John 3:5–8—The Spirit gives us new life.

PRAYER

Lord,

thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen us with power from within. Lead us, guide us, comfort us, and help us to walk in Your truth. Fill us with Your Spirit so that our lives reflect Your love, Your power, and Your presence.
